Haydar Aljaafari is an assistant Professor at Universty of Technology, Baqdad, Iraq. He completed his PhD candidate in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at Nuxoll lab. He has a B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Technology in Baghdad, Iraq. 
After presenting his research in the Graduate College's 2019 Three Minute Thesis competition, Aljaafari was selected as a finalist. He was also awarded fellowships from the Graduate College (Ballard and Seashore Dissertation fall 2020, Summer Fellowship 2019 and 2020, and Post-Comprehensive Research Fall 2018. Moreover, Aljaafari started the program with financial support from the Higher Committee of Education Development in Iraq, and he targeted spring 2021 semester for his graduation.
